Satsuma Audio
Music/SFX

My love of game music goes right back to my first console, Sega Genesis, the music they made with the technical limitations back then was just insane.
I’ve been interested in making music myself since picking up a bass guitar at age 16, then I got into making electronic music on my computer with software such as Reason. For a long time I wanted to be a dance music producer (or the next Aphex Twin!). It wasn’t until University that I decided I wanted to get into game audio, I have always been quite versatile and I loved the idea of producing music in all kinds of styles and getting paid for it!
It was also at University that my eyes (and ears!) were opened to the possibilities of sound design, and I decided to offer sound effect services alongside music composition. Now sound design makes up roughly half my workload and I have grown to love it and find it just as creatively rewarding as composing.
I’ve worked on many different games creating a wide variety of different kinds of music and sounds (SFX for a cat firing a laser out of it’s nose was a highlight!) and I am always excited for what’s coming next.
